For the first time ever, the selected wallpaper from Calico Wallpaper invited the designers to take part in a new series called Imagined Landscape, which debuted in Milan during Salone. Wallpaper collection are significantly different with landscape studies, but they are still not devoid of design aesthetics and design methods. By teaming with the designers of Snarkitecture, Ana Kraš, BCXSY and Faye Toogood, they can expand their offerings for custom-made wallpapers that do more than just cover the walls… they become art.
The topography is owned by Snarkitecture, where partners Daniel Arsham, Alex Mustonen and Ben Porto continue to dive in excavations, turning their three-dimensional stacks of ragged papers into two-dimensional handmade wallpaper.
Microcosmos by BCXSY, was born from enlarged images of blisters that take on organic forms, almost like something that you will see through a microscope lens.
London designer Fei Toogood translates three original paintings that were inspired by the Rococo of the 17th century and the English countryside. Toogood grew up in his collection called “Forests, Fields, Moors”.
