Minimalist wood chair called Laclasica created by Spanish designer Jesús Gasca for the STUA collection.
The product combines the traditional aesthetics of the classic wooden chairs, and translates them into a clean and modern style.
The elegant lines of Laclasica chair repeats the human body and its mimics shape to highlight its sensitivity and coziness. Laclasica carries an impression of a familiar old friend, but it has completely new and fresh design, having a taste of timelessness.
The plywood seat and back fuse with the wooden legs create a fluid form of 3D plywood. Beneath the seat, an aesthetic aluminium part strengthens the structure.
A chair made of wood has a completely finished construction, using noble natural material. The promptness with modern technology, sensitive design creation and flows as Laclasica chair itself, the end result becomes a real piece of art. Laclasica is a stackable chair.
Jesús Gasca is the founder and chief designer of STUA, modern furniture company, based in the resort town of San Sebastían in Spain.
