Project Year: 2017
French design brand Petite Friture has presented its new collection on the background of stylized, vivid, modernist house. This house does not exist. Yet designers know that you will like it and you will feel good here. Designers from the Petite Friture created this collection for this purpose. It’s like an invitation to live, laugh, hang out.
New modern furniture and accessories are being presented in the January issue of Maison & Objet, which started at January 20th in Paris. Petite Friture’s collection Villa Petite PF was photographed in the area that the creators describe as “magical and contemporary environment”, effected by the Mexican illustrator Ana Montiel.
The environment takes inspiration from all design disciplines — including architecture, graphics and products — and it is filled with pieces by such designers as Constance Guisset, Morten & Jonas, Studio Vit and Tiphaine de Bodman. Montiel has created a series of prints to “reflect the contemporary landscape”, which is the hallmark of shapes and patterns of the brand.
This house is imaginary, in its own way. Shaped magical alchemy inspirations and creations. This modernist architecture is generous in its accuracy.
Among the new Guisset products. series of mirrors that resemble the person wearing earrings with tassels, Norwegian duo Morten & Jonas created a modular piece of furniture called Hoff. Vit studio’s Cast lamps, created from the concrete base and the spherical glass, are also presented at the exhibition Petite Friture’s display during Maison & Objet.
In order to “add the term” the team used textiles and wall coverings by the de Bodman and Steer. The two designers have created a contrasting patterns with the trend of the jungle, and pinstripes collection of the de Bodman, which are considered to be bold and colorful.
