A new collection of sound-absorbing modern storage cabinets for the Swedish brand Zilenzio.
Designed specifically to absorb certain audio frequencies where it is most needed, a new collection by Norm Architects of acoustic furniture for Zilenzio has been developed to improve sound in the spaces that are most important to anybody. Passing under the mantra of “Selling Silence”, Zilencio works to extinguish noise not only functionally and effectively, but also aesthetically, which was one of the main reasons for the creation of this joint venture. Under the name Tone Cabinets, these sound-absorbing design elements were developed to help create a balanced acoustic environment in the workplace or at home, which simplifies focus and concentration.
Available in three different sizes, this is the second collaboration of Norm Architects with Zilenzio.
“The essence of Norm Architects, as well as human welfare, lies in the balance between wealth and restraint, between order and complexity. Each project – no matter if it’s an architecture, interiors, design or creative direction – is imbued with the same internal quality: simplicity, which carries great ideas. Norm Architects works with a vision that looks out of sight. Guided by body and mind and not by trends and technologies, their projects explore ideas that not only look good, but also feel good: architecture becomes thoughtful, minimalism acquires softness, and visual matter takes on haptic qualities. Their work is accurate, clear and exudes tacitly with an emphasis on quality, detail and durability.”
